Makita G2800L 2,800-Watt 6 HP Portable Power Generator The Makita 2,800-Watt 6 HP portable power generator has a 169cc overhead cam EX series engine that’s chain-driven for superior performance and includes fewer moving parts for greater reliability. The 3.7-gallon capacity of the metal fuel tank enables up to 9.7 hours of runtime, and the commercial-duty electrical components have common NEMA receptacles for durability. Well-designed engine and frame mounts produce less vibration, while the reduced 68-decibel sound output creates a quieter environment. A recoil starter system with electronic ignition delivers easy, reliable starts, while the timing chain carries oil throughout the generator for full lubrication. This generator comes with a built-in oil sensor to shut off the ignition when dangerously low oil levels occur and large, high-capacity air and fuel filters that reduced service intervals. Makita backs its generator with a 1-year limited warranty.
